This descriptive correlational research study determined the factors affecting students academic performance in modular learning at West Visayas State University - Lambunao Campus for the School Year 2021-2022. The respondents of study were the fifty (50) BEED, BSED and BTVTED students. The researchers employed a descriptive - correlational design. The instrument was adapted with minimal revision from Cos and Paguia (2021). It had undergone validity and reliability testing. The statistical tools used were frequency, percentage, mean, rank, standard deviation and spearman's rho. The findings revealed that the top three (3) factors affecting students' acaderic performances were the delivery of content, language use in the learning activity sheet included in the module, and study atmosphere. When categorized as to course, the following were the top three (3) factors affecting students' academic performances for BSED and BTVTED courses were the delivery of content, language use in the learning activity sheet included in the module and learning preference. For BEED students, delivery of content, language use in the learing activity sheet included in the module and study atmosphere were the top three (3) factors affecting them. The academic performance of students as an entire group and regardless of course was very good. There was no significant difference on the level of students' academic performance when classified as to course. There was no significant relationship between the factors encountered by students and their academic performance.

This descriptive study determined the perception of child abuse as perceive by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Women's Children Protection Desk (WCPD) in the Municipality of Calinog and Lambunao, Province of Iloilo in the year 2018. The respondents were Ten (10) randomly selected regular employees of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Ten (10) randomly selected regular employees of Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD). The data gathering instruments were the researchers made checklist. Department of Social welfare and Development (DSWD) and Women's Children Protection Desk (WCPD) assigned as independent variable and Child Abuse and Juvenile Delinquency assigned as the dependent variable. The data gathered were analyzed and ranked. Findings revealed that the perception of DSWD and WCPD regarding the influence of child abuse can highly affect the behavior of the child to become juvenile delinquent because of peer influence (Youth, Gangs and Groups), drinking alcohol, misbehaved to parents, committing crimes, and bullying others. The findings revealed that the perception to children affected by physical and emotional abuse were easily to commit crimes, influenced by peers, pore to alcoholism, misbehave their parents, and cutting classes. The findings revealed that not all abuse children turn into juvenile delinquent; in this case those children who were abuse can be a good citizen of society. The findings showed that juvenile delinquency among abused children was triggered by lack of feelings, loved, care and attended of their parents.

This study aimed to know the factors affecting performance of criminology students in disarming techniques of West Visayas State University-Lambunao Campus for school year 2014-2015. The respondents of the study were the 30 3rd year criminology students the study used the descriptive research design. Mental and physical condition were the most preferred factors affecting the performance of criminology students in disarming techniques. The students had a high extent of factors affecting the mental and physical ability in disarming techniques. The students had a very good performance level in disarming techniques.

This study was conducted to improve the registration System of Calinog National Comprehensive High School. The main purpose of this study is to reduce the work load of the personnel involved in every transaction to insure efficient and accurate results. This study aimed to develop and to improve the registration system of Calinog National Comprehensive High School through the proposed system using the Microsoft Access and Visual Basic programming language. The implementation of the proposed system would provide a systematic facility in recording and record keeping of entries of student's information and preparation of different transactions handled by the registrar's office. An interview conducted to the registrar and other personnel of the office gave all the information needed for the implementation of the study. The observation and the research made in the registrar's office in other school's serve as reference to determine either the transaction should be improved or eliminated.
