| dc.description.abstract | This survey correlational research aimed to ascertain the health safety compliance and popularity of fine dining restaurants. Conducted during the second semester of the academic year 2014-2015, the study utilized 100 customers of various fine dining restaurants in the city of Iloilo as participants. This investigation utilized a researcher- made questionnaire and employed percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test for Independent samples, one way ANOVA, and Pearson's r in the analysis of the obtained data. Significance level for all inferential tests was set at .05 alpha. The study revealed that the fine dining restaurants were highly compliant of the health safety regulations, and were very popular among the customers. The participants did not differ significantly in their assessment of the level of health safety compliance of fine dining restaurants when they were classified according to sex, age, educational attainment, estimated monthly family income, and occupation. Furthermore, the participants did not differ significantly in their evaluation of the level of popularity of fine dining restaurants classified as to location, year in existence, best-selling products, and number of food handlers. A moderate significant relationship existed between the health safety compliance and popularity of fine dining restaurants. | en |
