dc.description.abstractDigital storytelling is a short form of digital media production that uses the digital equivalent of film techniques like full-motion video with sound, animation, audio only, or any of the other forms of non-physical media which individuals can use to tell a story or present an idea. This study aimed to determine the level of reading comprehension skills of Grade-Nine high school learners enrolled for S.Y. 2016-2017 of National Comprehensive High School using digital storytelling and linear text with infographics as tools in enhancing reading comprehension skills.This was conducted during the second quarter in their English class focusing on Anglo-American Literature. The results showed that there was a positive effect on the learners' reading comprehension after exposure to digital storytelling and linear text with infographics. Moreover, there was a significant difference in the mean gain of scores of the classes in favor of the use of digital storytelling.en
