| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to trace the whereabouts of the Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency Secondary passers from calendar 2011-2015 of the District of Lambunao East and West, Schools Division of Iloilo. The respondents of the study were the 62 Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency Secondary passers. The study used the mixed method research design. Most of the respondents were single and from batch 2015, preferred employment after graduation, preferred to continue to college and earn a baccalaureate degree, are contractual and are employed locally. The value of perseverance and hard work are the school-related values which had helped them in their preferences. The respondents were found to be proficient in Expanding One's World Views and Filipino Communication Skills. The study also revealed that coping with lessons, financial constraints, and learning centers' location were the common challenges met by ALS passers. They overcome those challenges with family support, self-determination, and teachers' encouragement. | en |
