Zusammenfassung
Among the instructional materials that have been proposed, only a few localized and contextualized instructional materials have been develop through least learned competencies. This study developed and evaluated a Localized and Contextualized Learning Activity Sheets (LCLAS) in Science 6. The study employed Type 1 developmental research design utilizing Input, Process, Output (IPO) model in instructional development. This study identified the least learned competencies in Science 6 which became the basis for the development of the learning activity sheets. After the development, the material underwent experts validation and was revised based on the experts suggestions and recommendations. Four (4) qualified experts evaluated the Localized and Contextualized Learning Activity Sheets (LCLAS) using the Evaluation Rating Sheet for Print Resources. The statistical tools used were mean and standard deviations to analyze the data collected. The findings showed that three (3) least learned competencies in Science 6 specifically in Quarter 3 were identified based on the consolidated data on the result of Diagnostic Test for SY: 2021-2022. Additionally, the developed LCLAS was composed of different parts and distinct features such as localization of materials, inquiry-based activities and contextualization of its content and assessment. Moreover, the LCLAS rated "Very Satisfactory" which further suggested that the instructional material has excellently met the standards and no revision is needed in terms of its content, format, organization and presentation and accuracy and up-to-datedness of information. These features can be used to cater the needs of learners especially in far flung areas since materials needed in doing inquiry activities can be found and readily available in the environment or in the surroundings which can provide learners with authentic and meaningful learning and can help them

address the least learned competencies.
