dc.description.abstract | This study aimed at developing an adaptive centralized communication management system. Such a system could manage the sending and receiving of scanned image document, affixing electronic signature and rendering the image document into Portable Document Format (PDF) with security details implemented using hash code, distribute the documents using activity-on-node algorithm for signature, track the status/location of document and notify the receiver using Short Message Service (SMS). The contribution of the study was the development of activity-on-node algorithm which was derived from precedence diagramming method and was used as the algorithm that identifies who needs to sign a document and in what order. Modified Waterfall Model was used as a software development model and which serves as well as guide in developing the system and the Unified Modeling Language (UML)- the software development tool in the design of the system's structures. The International Standard ISO/IEC 25010:2011 Systems and Software Engineering- Systems and Software Quality Requirements and Evaluation (SQuaRE) were employed in the evaluation of the system. The arithmetic mean was used to analyze respondents' feedback; fifteen (15) end-users and eleven (11) Information Technology (IT) experts who are Systems Analysts, Systems/Network Administrators, Programmers, and Web Designers/Developers. The evaluators rated the system as "excellent" in functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, Maintainability and Portability the eight (8) Systems and Software Product Quality Characteristics of ISO/IEC25010. | en |
