dc.description.abstract | This chapter considers how a learning community comprised of prospective and practicing teachers, together with university faculty, engaged with issues of sustainability in a rural community of the Philippines. Photovoice methods enabled the learning community to explore complex tensions mediating their understanding of sustainability in the Anthropocene. In a move towards Ecojustice, this chapter illustrates how members of the learning community reflected on narratives which challenged them to think about deeply embedded cultural assumptions central to their understanding of what it means to know, act, and think sustainably. | en |
