Abstract
This qualitative study utilized the narrative inquiry that aimed to look into the coaching experiences of Taga-West winning sports and dance coaches. The informants of the study were purposively selected based on their achievements in different sports and dance activities; at least they have facilitated winning titles for their athletes and performers in five years of joining in the Philippine Association of State Colleges and Universities (PASUC) and State Colleges and Universities Athletics Association (SCUAA). Data were gathered through recorded one-on-one interview and were transcribed, line-by-line analysis of the informants narratives were undertaken. The findings of the study revealed the conceptual themes that had transcribed the reasons for Taga-West sports and dance coaches winnings. These were practice makes perfect, the Taga-West sports and dance coaches concepts of coaching; dark and light and difficult experiences in coaching; endless learning from experiences, valuable, essential learning and realizations in coaching experiences.
