This study sought to determine the self-efficacy and competencies of senior high school Physical Education and Health Teachers as input for an in-service training program. This study employed the descriptive research design and was conducted on August 2017 among 11 senior high school physical education and health teachers from seven public high schools in the Division of Iloilo City. The survey method was used and the questionnaire was constructed based on the evaluation guideline of Bandura's self- efficacy and the K to 12 physical education and health learning competencies. To interpret the obtained data, the researcher utilized the mean and standard deviation for descriptive analysis while the Mann Whitney U test and spearman rho test were used for inferential data analysis. Significance level was set at .05 alpha. The study revealed that when the participants were taken as an entire group, their level of self-efficacy was very high. When classified according to sex, the males had a very high self-efficacy while the female teachers had only high self-efficacy. When grouped as to educational attainment, the teachers with bachelor's degree, had high self-efficacy, while the master's degree holders had very high self-efficacy. When classified as to seminars/trainings attended, all the participants had very high self-efficacy. Furthermore, in terms of teaching competencies, all participants, whether taken as an entire group or classified as to various categories, rated the teachers outstanding. No significant difference was found in the teachers' level of self-efficacy and teaching competencies when they were classified according to certain categories and no significant relationship between teachers' self-efficacy and teaching competencies existed.
