Extract- Online gambling in the Philippines has become a complex digital and social issue that threatens the well-being of the youth as if left unregulated, this may lead to long-term psychosocial, academic, and economic harm. Thus, it is imperative for the policymakers, education regulatory agencies (i.e. Department of Education (DepEd) and Commission on Higher Education (CHED), educators, platform providers, families and communities to act collectively in safeguarding the future of young Filipinos from the hidden dangers of gambling.
